Environmental concerns back-burnered? Not again!

This has been a problem for a long time now. Making a change in policies or even in someones personal life is not something anyone wants to deal with. It means going out of your way to change something that has become the status quo. This is something that candidates for any offices should be willing to deal with and face since it is something that will be a problem in our lifetime. I want to know that in the near future the people in public office are doing everything that they can to make sure the environmental future is as safe as possible. these candidates who are ignoring the issue are doing so because they don't want to put their neck out there and anger any groups that might support them. They need to not be afraid to stick to the issues they believe in. Otherwise we vote for them because they say that they will do something and then they end up not doing it because they only supported it in their campaign to get more people to vote for them.
